LAMAFEST 2005

A beautiful weekend, good friends, new acquaintances, wonderful animals, and great things to buy. What more could you want for a llama and alpaca show? A good time was had by all and yet while we were enjoying ourselves, we paused to remember the unfortunate victims of Hurricane Katrina, and collected money to help in that monumental clean up effort.

I’d personally like to again thank all the people who worked so hard to make this show a success. Our hardworking staff was indispensable in organizing the show and keeping on top of all the last minute details. To the many who volunteered to work the gates, awards tables, ring stewards, ringside clerking, and setting up performance courses, I owe a debt of gratitude. You kept the show moving smoothly and we could not have done it without your assistance.
